Research internship: Laboratory analysis of samples collected on Axel Heiberg Island

During this internship, I have the chance to contribute to the T-MARS project in the fall of 2023. This will allow me to use my knowledge, but also to learn new things on exciting topics, such as geology and remote sensing.

My internship involves analyzing the composition and acquiring spectral data in the laboratory on samples collected in the field during the expedition to Axel Heiberg Island in the Canadian high Arctic in the summer of 2023. I will also create a compositional and spectral database for these and other samples from the Professor Lemelin's research lab.
I also have to set up a website that will present the research of the Canada Research Chair in Northern and Planetary Geological Remote Sensing.
